Becky is a Dancer, Practitioner and Aerial performer living and working in the South West.
Her love for Dance and Aerial performance has given her the opportunity to work professionally within many different dancing landscapes- amidst trees, on walls, harbours, towers and in shopping malls. She has taught and worked with hundreds of young people and spread her skills, knowledge, joy and love for movement and performance in many different settings. She has worked as a lead dance practitioner at the Barbican theatre and subsequently delivered dance in schools, community centres and private dance schools.
In 2016 she joined Yskynna Aerial Arts as an associate performer and began her journey into Vertical dance, leading to many of the exciting performance spaces named above.
She has worked with such artists and companies as: Freefall Dance, Jules Laville, Helen Kindred, Kay Crook, Jane Castree, Spindrift Dance collective and Alats Dance and Circus Company. Aside from vertical harness work Becky has developed a love for aerial sling and hoop- enjoying the physical challenge of the equipment and the opportunity to merge dance and aerial arts together.
Cathy is the director here at Aerial Allsorts and is totally addicted to all things upside down. Her passion is Aerial Hoop but she can also be found on the pole, silks, trapeze and sling. She really enjoys teaching beginners and finds it especially rewarding helping them learn and become more confident. Cathy is proof that its never to late to start as she did not take her first class until she was 39.
For your reassurance all of our instructors have undergone numerous teacher training courses in their chosen field , they are insured and First Aid trained with a number of years teaching experience.
Jasmine began her aerial journey back in 2016 when she stepped into her first Pole Fitness class. Since then her love and addiction for pole and aerial has continued to grow, so much so, that she trained as a pole fitness and aerial hoop instructor in 2018. She absolutely loves teaching and seeing her students progress over time. She expects to continue developing her skills as an instructor to teach more intermediate/advanced levels. Jasmine will be studying in September for her Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
