Cathy is the director here at Aerial  Allsorts and is totally addicted to all things upside down. Her passion is Aerial Hoop but she can also be found on the pole, silks, trapeze and sling. She really enjoys teaching beginners and finds it especially rewarding helping them learn and become more confident. Cathy is proof that its never to late to start as she did not take her first class until she was 39. 


For your reassurance all of our instructors have undergone numerous teacher training courses in their chosen field , they are insured and First Aid trained with a number of years teaching experience.

Sophie is our Stretch/Flexibility and Handstand/Gymnastic Instructor.

Sophie is a freelance dancer, acrobat and choreographer currently based in South Devon. Her love for dance and acrobatics has led her to performing within both dance and circus disciplines. Growing up as a competitive artistic and sports acrobatic gymnast developed a keen interest in her to follow a career in performing. Following this she graduated with a Foundation Degree from The London Studio Centre and a BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2014. Since graduation Sophie has worked with: Plymouth Dance, Exim Dance Company, integrated company Far Flung Dance Theatre, Spin Drift Dance Collective, Situations, Efferus Collective and Clare Parker. She is currently working with Joli Vyann, as well as developing her company Alats Dance-Circus Company and first piece of work “Room 2 Heal”. 


​Linzi has been participating in Pole Fitness Classes for a number of years now and is enjoying the transition from student to instructor.

​Linzi is a full time Police Officer and busy mum of 2 young children showing that pole attracts a mixture of people wanting to improve their fitness, have fun and unwind after a busy, stressful day.

Linzi is currently undertaking her SpinCity Instructor Training Certification to enable her to put her experience onto paper.


Becky is a Dancer, Practitioner and Aerial performer living and working in the South West.
Her love for Dance and Aerial performance has given her the opportunity to work professionally within many different dancing landscapes- amidst trees, on walls, harbours, towers and in shopping malls. She has taught and worked with hundreds of young people and spread her skills, knowledge, joy and love for movement and performance in many different settings. She has worked as a lead dance practitioner at the Barbican theatre and subsequently delivered dance in schools, community centres and private dance schools.
In 2016 she joined Yskynna Aerial Arts as an associate performer and began her journey into Vertical dance, leading to many of the exciting performance spaces named above.
She has worked with such artists and companies as: Freefall Dance, Jules Laville, Helen Kindred, Kay Crook, Jane Castree, Spindrift Dance collective and Alats Dance and Circus Company. Aside from vertical harness work Becky has developed a love for aerial sling and hoop- enjoying the physical challenge of the equipment and the opportunity to merge dance and aerial arts together.
